JetShift is a jet lag prevention planner that helps travellers generate personalised sleep and meal schedules. This privacy policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: your data never leaves your device.

JetShift does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
There are no user accounts, no sign-up process, and no login. The app operates entirely offline. No data is ever sent to us or any third party.
The app stores the following information in a local SQLite database on your device solely to provide its core functionality:

All of this information is entered directly by you. None of it is sensitive personal data as defined under applicable data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). It does not include your name, email address, location data, health records, financial information, or any device identifiers.
JetShift does not collect, access, or process any of the following:
JetShift does not integrate with any third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or cloud providers. There are no third-party SDKs that transmit data from the app.
The app is built with React Native and Expo. No Expo cloud services that handle user data are used. Local notifications (to remind you of scheduled sleep or meal times) are generated entirely on-device using the operating system's notification system; no notification content is transmitted externally.
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your data to any third party, because we never receive it in the first place. All data resides exclusively in the local SQLite database on your device.
Your data persists on your device for as long as the app is installed.
To delete all your data: uninstall JetShift from your device. This permanently removes the local SQLite database and all records stored within it. There is no server-side data to request deletion of.
You may also delete individual trips from within the app, which removes all associated routines, schedules, and activity logs for that trip.
JetShift does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Because no data is collected or transmitted at all, the app presents no particular risk to younger users. The app is rated for general audiences.
Because all data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's own security model (screen lock, encryption at rest provided by Android). We do not transmit data, so there is no transmission-level risk to mitigate on our end.
We recommend keeping your device's operating system and security patches up to date as a general best practice.
JetShift requests the following Android permissions:

No other permissions are requested. Location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, and health permissions are not used.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be published at the same URL with an updated effective date. Because no data is collected, changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in any material way. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
